Lilly O’Brien is the UK Development Manager, Major Donor and Events at EMpower, responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding relationships to generate vital income and engagement. Through the delivery of high-quality events and tailored stewardship initiatives Lilly focuses on cultivating key stakeholder relationships to drive forward EMpower’s strategy, vision and impact.

Lilly has spent her career in the charity sector, with specialist experience in managing complex high-income events and a portfolio of major donors across established charities including Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, NSPCC and Anthony Nolan.

Lilly holds a master's degree in Gender, Sexuality and Global Politics from SOAS university, focusing her thesis on exploring violence and occupation through a gendered lens.

Outside of work Lilly loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
