As Regional Programme Director for Latin America at EMpower, Daniel Parnetti leads grant-making, capacity-building, and cross-sector collaboration initiatives across Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. He oversees a regionally based team of three Programme Officers, working closely with them to strengthen youth-focused organisations and advance meaningful, lasting social change.

With over 20 years of experience in the philanthropic and non-profit sectors at both national and global levels, Daniel brings strategic vision and a collaborative, trust-based approach to philanthropy. Skilled in co-creation and problem-solving, he has a strong track record of supporting locally based organisations to drive meaningful community impact.

Daniel holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, with a specialisation in Financial Management, and a BA in Political Science from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys cooking and gardening, and is passionate about discovering new foods and ingredients when travelling.
