Divya Shikha is the Global Manager of Accounting at EMpower. In this role, Divya manages the organisation’s global accounting operations, overseeing end-to-end financial processes across all global entities and currencies. She is responsible for strengthening and streamlining core accounting functions, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audit management. Divya also plays a key role in enhancing financial systems and processes, supporting finance-related training, and managing grants in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

With over 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Divya brings deep expertise in finance, accounting, and audit management. Her strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency has contributed to building transparent and resilient financial structures within mission-driven environments.

Divya holds an MBA in Finance and Banking, is a CA Finalist, and is certified in US GAAP and Financial Modelling & Valuation.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, teaching, and spending time with her pet.
