Taxi Tour: Donor Engagement in Action – Türkiye Edition

On 5th June, EMpower hosted one of its signature Taxi Tours, a dedicated day of connecting directly with supporters to share the stories, communities, and change they help drive. These immersive experiences bring donors closer to the mission, offering firsthand insight into the work of our grantee partners.

This edition of the Taxi Tour was joined by Filiz Bikmen, EMpower’s Senior Consultant, Programmes & Partnerships in Türkiye. Together, we explored pressing needs on the ground, celebrated the inspiring work of our grantee partners, and surfaced opportunities for deeper collaboration.

The day included:

A thoughtful conversation with Tolga Tuglular and EMpower’s Adam Heuman

A strategic dialogue at Deutsche Bank with Ozan Korman Tarman and Zaryna Lee

And a vibrant gathering at Cape Ann’s Summer Drinks, joined by champions and community members including Jeremy Llewelyn, Cynthia Steele, Sadiya Shaikh, Estefania Cote, Joanna Bunt, and Ajibola Glover
