25 Events in 2025: Celebrating 25 Years of Impact: EMpower’s Anniversary Dinners in Hong Kong & Singapore

The past two weeks have been nothing short of extraordinary. We gathered in Hong Kong and Singapore to celebrate EMpower’s 25th anniversary. These milestone events reaffirmed our collective commitment to empowering young people in emerging markets.

In Hong Kong, over 60 guests joined us, raising an astounding $628K in support of our mission. We were deeply moved by Gede Sudarma and Wayan Doyok, alumni of the East Bali Poverty Project, who shared their powerful journeys of resilience and hope.

Just days later, Singapore carried the momentum forward, with 80+ guests raising an incredible $507K! We were honored to hear from Luchi Flores (Country Director, PNP) and Nanit Katipunan PNP alum), whose heartfelt words reinforced the power of opportunity.

These Dinners hold a special place in our hearts—not just because they marked 25 years of impact, but because they reminded us why we do this work: to stand alongside young people as they rewrite their futures.
