EMpower held its Annual Dinner Champions of Youth on May 9th, 2023 at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. Our honoree was the organisation Waves for Change, in South Africa, which uses surfing to help young people from under-resourced communities around Cape Town build their resilience, develop healthy relationships, and plan for a positive future.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, your generosity helped us raise US$730,000! This support will have a significant impact on the lives of young people in emerging market countries.
